BNSF Fresno Trains
The Fresno area has always had some great action and still does to this day! The Union Pacific tracks from Fresno (south), were quiet today with only 1 train crossing the diamonds at Calwa. However on the BNSF, it was one busy day. I will have some shooting to do on the Fresno Sub next time. Enjoy!

Find it funny that whenever I had covered the Sacramento Area in 2017, the UP Fresno Subdivision has had some problem to shut it down. Last time was the Washout. This time it was a broken rail. Only things that were interesting near the Fresno were the two new Brightline sets being assembled at the Siemens plant.

With daylight still clinging, Amtrak 14 rolls north to San Jose just outside of Gilroy's city limits. Moving to Morgan Hill, the all EMD Power on Union Pacific's "Rock Train" scream towards the Peninsula where it will finish half of its job. Yes the second unit was an EMD SD40-2. Thanks for watching!

The year was 2004 and Amtrak ran it's Surfliners with cab cars in the "San Diegan" style were the cab cars faced south before the all faced north. For now take a ride south from San Juan Capistrano to San Diego. All years before Quiet Zones and new signals. Enjoy!

On January 10th and 12 of 2017, San Benito County was drenched by the storm of 2017. On those days, UP crews were extra careful with operations since flooding was occurring. Two former SP/SSW units still charged through the storm.

Do you know that Amtrak California cab car 8305 (Mount Tamalpais) was briefly equipped with a Graham White electronic bell from 2011 to 2012. For some odd reason, cab car 8305 got its e-bell replaced with a brand new EMD steel bell, bringing back the cab car unit its mechanical bell.

Where did you get the replacement bases from? I have a wc hayes mechanical bell with a broken base that needs to be replaced.
